The Rohm and Haas project consisted of the renovation of their existing manufacturing facility and the construction of a new 50,000 square foot warehouse and manufacturing addition. Unique aspects of the project included the requirement to raise the existing roof from 25 feet to 40 feet, including new steel columns, and the need to stage construction so not to interfere with ongoing manufacturing operations.
The project involved considerable interaction with the owner, significant safety training, and a tight construction schedule.
The project was undertaken as a design-build project. Muhlenberg/Greene was the project architect.
