Albright College Founders Walk

Burkey Construction was the general contractor for the construction of Albright College’s Founders Walk.

The project included significant site work, new hardscapes, and extensive landscaping. It focused primarily on the area from the Campus Center to the Gingrich Library/Administration Building and included creating a new 20’ wide walkway from the visitor’s parking lot to the White Chapel. The project included attractive new green spaces, reconfigured walkways, a new entrance to the Campus Center, and provided a new ADA accessible route.

The Founders Wall is constructed of Pennsylvania Bluestone. It was incorporated into the hardscape and is engraved with the names of major donors to the College.
