Albright College Dining Hall

Burkey Construction was the general contractor for the complete demolition and renovation of the kitchen and dining hall at Albright College.

The project included total interior demolition of their existing facilities leaving only the shell of the original building. The plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems were replaced.

The renovated space brings an entirely new dining experience to the students. The kitchen includes a brick oven pizza area, a grill area, deli area, bakery, salad bar, gluten-free area, and vegetarian area. The dining area now has raised seating areas with booths, banquette seating, and bar style counters and chairs. The new multi-level layout and perimeter food prep stations provide higher efficiency and increased functionality.

The work was completed in less than three months during summer break.
